Associated Children’s Dentistry is a pediatric dentistry practice that has served the Nashville and surrounding areas for over 50 years. We are a pediatric dentistry practice that is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care in a pleasant, comfortable and fun environment for our patients and their parents. We treat every child as if they were our own and provide the best possible patient care available.
Conveniently located in Goodlettsville, Mt. Juliet, Downtown Nashville, and Bordeaux, all of our offices are located only a few miles from major highways and interstates.

Meet Dr. Sarat Mohammadu
Meet Dr. Sarat Mohammadu, one of our dentist at AC Dentistry. Dr. Mohammadu hails from Smyrna, GA and received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minor in Chemical Engineering from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. She furthered her education with a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Georgetown University while completing her thesis with the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research at the National Institute of Health in Washington, DC. She was featured on the cover of the NIH Record during one of three times presenting her research at NIH Poster Day. Dr. Mohammadu obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University in Washington, DC.
Post-graduation, Dr. Mohammadu began serving underserved populations without medical insurance at a Public Health dental clinic in Silver Spring, MD. She then completed a General Practice Residency, with a predominate focus in Pediatric Dental and Anesthesia rotations at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Mohammadu then completed a 1-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at the Oral Surgical Institute in Nashville.
Prior to joining our AC-Dentistry, Dr. Mohammadu participated in the academic community as a Clinical Instructor at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. In 2019, she was featured in Meharry’s Donor Honor Roll Catalogue, discussing her additional position as Lead Dentist on Meharry’s Mobile Dental Unit ensuring accessible and affordable dental care to special communities (Juvenile detention centers) throughout the Middle Tennessee area. She strongly believes that a part of serving the underserved is broadening the horizons of what it means to treat and help others.
During her leisure time, Dr. Mohammadu practices and enjoys Power Vinyasa yoga, Western horse riding, and traveling.

Meet Dr. La Shonda Wright
Meet Dr. La Shonda Wright, one of our dentist at AC Dentistry. Dr. Wright is a graduate of Loma Linda School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. She attended Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry.Dr. Wright is originally from Los Angeles, CA but she is very excited to call Nashville her new home! She enjoys outreach and community events locally and overseas. She has participated in giving oral health presentations at community health fairs and elementary schools, and performed dental treatment in Georgetown, Guyana , Valle de Trinidad, Mexico and locally with AMEN clinic.
Dr. Wright enjoys working in pediatrics and is enthusiastic about the promotion of oral health education.
In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, exploring new restaurants and spending time with family.

Meet Dr. Judson Wood
Meet Judson Wood, DDS, the lead pediatric dentist and owner of the AC Dentistry practice. Sharing the same passion for dentistry as his late father and late grandfather, Dr. Judson Wood received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in 2010. Dr. Wood is committed to providing the best dental care for children and continuing his father’s guiding principle for the dental practice: “treat our patients as if they were our own child(ren).” -
